Ralph Stocker is a retired physician and a native New Yorker. He graduated from Hamilton College (BA '73), The University of Virginia (MA '75) and The University of Kansas (MD '79). He then completed his training in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology at The University of Massachusetts Medical Center. For over 35 years he practiced in Worcester, MA, Albany, NY and Hartford, CT. In the summer of 1984 he cared for patients with sunburns and fishhook mishaps at AIM in Wellfleet. He is the father of two children, both of whom live in Brooklyn, NY.
For the past 4 years he has been a docent at the WHS&M; he has been one of the guides on the nighttime Ghost Tour for 2 years. He and his wife, Marnie Cooper divide their time between their home on Wellfleet Harbor and Melbourne Beach, FL. This is his first year serving on the WHS&M Board of Directors.
