Annual Fund
The Annual Fund supports the yearly operations of WHS&M. Your gift will help the WHS&M to:
Collect, preserve, exhibit, and celebrate objects of Wellfleet’s material culture and historical record.
Continue educational programming for children and adults.
Establish a library and archives to facilitate research, education, and outreach to the community.
Maintain the buildings and grounds.
Stay current with technology.
Keep the lights on.
Building Fund
The WHS&M façades at 266, 261, and 258 Main Street have been restored to their original mid-nineteenth century appearance. A donation to the Building Fund will help the WHS&M to:
Integrate these three structures to create uninterrupted interior flow.
Build an addition to house stairways, bathrooms, kitchenette, lobby, and an elevator making the entire museum ADA accessible.
Install electrical, HVAC, plumbing, insulation, and security and sprinkler systems.
Create a reception area, Museum shop, interactive exhibit spaces, a multipurpose space, and climate-controlled room for archival storage.
Upgrade Museum computers and IT systems.
Establish a maintenance fund.
