Membership in the Wellfleet Historical Society & Museum supports the yearly operations of WHS&M. Your membership dollars will help with maintaining the following:

  • Collect, preserve, exhibit, and celebrate objects of Wellfleet’s material culture and historical record.

  • Continue educational programming for children and adults.

  • Establish a library and archives to facilitate research, education, and outreach to the community.

  • Maintain the buildings and grounds.

  • Stay current with technology.

  • Keep the lights on.

    Q. Why should I join the Wellfleet Historical Society & Museum? 

    A. Everybody loves Wellfleet! Membership dues help keep the museum operating and enable us to offer free admission. When you join as a member, you help celebrate the story of Wellfleet through research, historic collections and programs. 

    Q. How do I become a member? 

    A. It's easy! Simply make a gift of $25 or more - OR volunteer. Your membership will be active from June 1, 2025 - May 31, 2026.

    A. That would be nice! Extra gifts help with everything from paying the bills to sponsoring a myriad of programs and special projects.
