The Clancy Tradition at Preservation Hall

The Wellfleet Historical Society presents The Clancy Tradition concert of traditional music .  Proceeds will benefit the Historical Society’s programs and operations.

The Clancy Tradition originates in Ireland in the 1950s when the Clancy family of Moy, County Tyrone formed a Ceili Band, playing for dances and concerts throughout Ireland. The musical tradition has since evolved into The Clancy Tradition, two generations of Clancys including Eugene Clancy of Chatham, his daughter Rosemary Clancy of the Chatham Fiddle Company, and sons, brothers, uncles and cousins and a friend. Come out for a lively and heartwarming evening of songs and tunes!
